Celebrate the National Day! Join the “National Day X Heritage Funfair 2025” presented by the Antiquities and Monuments Office of Development Bureau to explore heritage with fun. Get unique souvenirs simply by completing designated missions themed on heritage. Come enjoy games and exhibitions at the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre (HDC) on 1 October!

Programme Highlights:

1. Landing in Chang’an City

Land in Chang’an City and complete the mission to win a surprise reward!

2. Dinosaur Modelling Clay Workshop

Make your own dinosaur souvenir! Create a mini dinosaur with modelling clay and celebrate the National Day with the dinosaur. You can get an extra stamp if you fold a small gift box for your mini dinosaur.

3. 10.1 Challenge at HDC

Find the answers hidden in HDC! The exhibition galleries feed you the strength to tackle the challenge!

4. Cursive Script of a Thousand Characters Classic

Can you comprehend the cursive script imitating Huaisu’s calligraphy by Emperor Qianlong?

5. Polo Players Hide and Seek

Polo players will be roaming around the exhibition galleries of the Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons exhibition, so find them to collect stamp. Once the two polo players’ stamps are collected, you can head to “Your Snapshot” booth to take your themed photo!

6. Your Snapshot Station! (You must first complete “Polo Players Hide and Seek”):

Exclusive backgrounds with heritage elements for you to record this memorable moment!

7. Fold the Dinos and Camels

Test your craftsmanship, make a colourful paper dinosaur or camel to get a Balloon Twisting Mission Card. Complete the task required to have a chance to get a twisted balloon animal.

8. Twisted Balloon Animals (You must first complete “Fold the Dinos and Camels” and Balloon Twisting Mission Card ):

Cute balloons enhance the festive ambience! Bring along the paper dinosaur or camel and complete the Balloon Twisting Mission Card. You may take a twisted balloon animal home! Hong Kong Jockey Club volunteers will twist balloon animals for you on-site. First-come, first-served while stock lasts.

9. Tang Vogue Four Colour Stamp Exclusively for National Day

Find out the exclusive National Day “Tang Vogue” four colour stamps, add the National Day Chop to make a special National Day post card and get a stamp.

10. “Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons: A Golden Era of Multicultural Integration and Openness” Exhibition Guided Tours

Join our guided tours to enjoy the “Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons” exhibition to know more about the history and culture of Tang dynasty, and the Tang vogue. You can also get a stamp after the tour. Please keep an eye on the schedule, and you may meet our Star Curator Docent.

Participants born on 1 October can receive a gift upon presenting identification! A surprise gift will be presented to you if you were born on 1 October 1949! Gifts are available on a first-come, first-served basis while stock lasts.

Rules for redeeming gifts:

Each activity has its own exclusive stamp. You will get one activity stamp after completing each activity. Collect FIVE stamps to redeem a prize at the Gift Corner! Collect EIGHT or more stamps to win the grand prize! Enjoy the fun and educational games! Don’t miss the chance!

Each visitor is limited to one prize each of the two stamp tiers. The prizes are available while stock lasts. The Antiquities and Monuments Office reserves the rights of final decision in the case of dispute.
